People from all political stripes condemned Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., in a now-viral video of the progressive politician that circulated on Twitter.
Demonstrators barged into Ocasio-town Cortez’s hall in Queens on Wednesday, yelling at her and waving posters. Ocasio-Cortez sat on the podium and pretended to dance to the beat of the shouts as protesters started yelling, “AOC has got to go.”
Eventually, the protesters lost the support of the majority of the audience, allowing Ocasio-Cortez to speak.
The video was published on social media as an example of Ocasio-Cortez’mocking’ her supporters in what they perceived as a demeaning act.

She is insulting her constituents because she has never resided in her area, they did not elect her, and she is not accountable to them, according to contributing editor Chadwick Moore of The Spectator.
Conservative analyst John Cardillo said, “Wow, they’ve turned on her like a pack of rabid wolves.”

Anti-war protesters disrupted another town hall the congresswoman was hosting last week in a similar event. Ocasio-Cortez was jeered by two protesters for supporting the arming of Ukraine during its conflict with Russia.
Ocasio-Cortez has previously stated that protests should make people feel uneasy, yet she declined to engage with the demonstrators, labeling them as “rude.”
Ocasio-Cortez did make an effort to talk to the protesters for the remainder of the video on Wednesday in an effort to diffuse the situation.

She also made fun of a man who had a sign that read, “Wake up, New York.” Elect Tina Forte. F**K AOC,’ they said, dubbing him “classy.”
