ATV and dirt bike riders ambushed Philadelphia police, attacking them with bottles and bricks.

Bricks and bottles were thrown at police by a group of aggressive Philadelphia ATV drivers, who then attacked the policemen and fled the area, according to police.

One day after a Republican city councilman claimed that the Democratic mayor Jim Kenney’s administration had told police to “not enforce the law,” the mob launched their assault on the police.

A huge group of people were seen riding dirt bikes and ATVs at a petrol station close to Delaware Avenue and Spring Garden Street in a video that the Philadelphia Police Department released on Tuesday, according to the police.

A dirt-bike rider originally collided close to the gas pumps and fled, according to authorities. It was then discovered by investigators that the bike had been reported stolen from New Jersey.

The circumstance then worsened, according to the police.

According to Philadelphia police, while officers tried to recover the stolen dirt bike, the crowd surrounded them and hurled stones, bottles, and other objects at them. Before the mob left the scene, “one marked police vehicle was kicked repeatedly and had its (sic) windshield damaged with stone.”

As a dirt-bike rider approaches and throws an object at a police vehicle, one ATV driver performing doughnuts near the petrol pumps is captured on camera as the pandemonium unfolds.

The crime is captured on police body camera video from a different angle while sirens can be heard in the distance.

A previous video that included significant numbers of dirt bike and ATV riders prompted a response from Philadelphia City Councilman at-large David Oh just one day earlier.

This must end, he wrote.
Oh further claimed that the Mayor’s Administration had told the police not to follow the law.
