While the Arizona Cardinals and New Orleans Saints’ game on Thursday night included plenty of excitement on the field, some TV watchers were more intrigued by the trailer for Taylor Swift’s newest album, which was unveiled during the contest.

Friday at midnight saw the release of Swift’s album “Midnights,” just after the teaser debuted on “Thursday Night Football.”

The trailer featured a series of snippets from the music videos Swift made for the album, in which she appeared as a variety of historical figures, including Marie Antoinette, a flapper girl, Marilyn Monroe, and, at one point, a person who hides in a coffin for an unknown purpose.

SUPER BOWL HALFTIME OFFER WAS REJECTED BY TAYLOR SWIFT: REPORT

Swift thanked Amazon for “allowing me the opportunity to show you guys a first peek teaser trailer of the secret projects that I’ve been working on for a really long time” in a message sent before the highly anticipated clip was made public. Amazon Prime offered a live feed of the game.

The inaugural NFL game will be broadcast on Black Friday next year on Amazon’s Prime Video.

“Those projects are the “Midnights” music movies, the music films I did for this album to sort of visually explore the world of this record,” she continued.

The vocalist of “Look What You Made Me Do” claimed she enjoys songwriting and sharing stories.
