Zuri Craig, a former finalist on “America’s Got Talent,” passes away at 44

According to his family, Zuri Craig, a finalist on “America’s Got Talent” in 2015, has passed away.
Craig, a member of the Craig Lewis Band, was 44 years old when he appeared on “America’s Got Talent.”
On Craig’s ZoReMi Entertainment Instagram page, the family posted the news along with a homage to the late musician.

“We announce the passing of our cherished son, brother, and friend, Zuri Craig, with deep sorrow. In anticipation, we appreciate your prayers. Please respect our privacy during this unbearably difficult time of loss,” the announcement said.

Respected actor and director JOSEPHINE MELVILLE passed away at age 61.
The singer’s cause of death was not given by the family.
Craig, a member of the Craig Lewis band, appeared on “America’s Got Talent” when he was 44 years old.

When performing covers of songs by Mary J. Blige and James Brown on “America’s Got Talent,” Craig and his singing partner Jeffrey Lewis placed sixth overall.
