PRINCE EDWARD ANNOUNCES STATEMENT REGARDING QUEEN ELIZABETH’S DEATH

Prince Edward releases statement on death of Queen Elizabeth

Friday saw the issuance of a statement from Prince Edward concerning the passing of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II.

The overwhelming outpouring of love, admiration, and respect from so many people for such a remarkable and unique person who was always there for us has left Prince Edward and I speechless, the statement from the prince said. “And now, united in our sorrow, we are by her side. You have no idea how much your support means to me, so thank you.”

In all of our lives, “The Queens passing has left an enormous vacuum,” he continued. “James and Louise enjoying the locations and pastimes that their grandparents so cherished has brought Sophie and I much joy. I believe my mother also enjoyed seeing those passions develop since she allowed us to spend so much time with her. These wonderful memories and our times spent together are now extremely valuable to each and every one of us.”

He ended his speech by saying, “Long Live The King.”
Prince Edward, who is married to Sophie, Countess of Wessex, is Queen Elizabeth II’s youngest child.
